1. About us

finalbuy.co.uk is run by FINALBUY LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company no. 16275548. Our postal address is our registered address shown in the footer of this website. Email: info@finalbuy.co.uk. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on our prices.

2. These terms

These terms apply to consumers buying from our website. Please read them, with our Returns Policy and Privacy Policy, before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

3. Our products

We sell new and pre-loved electronics to customers in the UK. Every pre-loved item is tested before sale. Each listing states the item’s condition, and photos show the actual item or a representative example as stated in the listing. Minor cosmetic marks consistent with the stated condition are not a fault.

4. How the contract is formed

  1. When you place an order, you are offering to buy the item.
  2. We will email you to confirm we have received your order. This does not mean we have accepted it.
  3. The contract is formed when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
  4. If we cannot accept your order (for example, the item is out of stock or the price was clearly wrong), we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe, our only payment provider. We do not accept PayPal. If a price is obviously wrong, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
  • Free standard delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 48, usually 2–3 working days.
  • Express delivery: Royal Mail Tracked 24, £7.99, usually the next working day.
Delivery times are estimates from dispatch. If we have not delivered within 30 days of your order, you may cancel for a full refund. The item becomes your responsibility once it is delivered to you or to a person you name.

7. Cancellation and returns

You may cancel within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason, including pre-loved items. Refunds are made within 14 days, and usually within 5–10 working days. Full details and a model cancellation form are in our Returns Policy.

8. Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, items must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, you can reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and you have further rights to a repair, replacement or refund after that. For pre-loved items, quality is judged with regard to age, price and the condition described.

9. Our 3-month warranty

In addition to your statutory rights, every item comes with our free 3-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering faulty workmanship. Orders placed on finalbuy.co.uk are covered automatically, with no registration needed. If you bought from us on eBay, please register your purchase on our Register eBay warranty page. We do not sell paid or extended warranties.Covered: faulty workmanship, including faults and hardware failures that arise during normal use.Not covered: accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, repairs or modifications by anyone other than us, normal wear and tear, cosmetic marks already described at sale, and problems caused by third-party software.How to claim: email info@finalbuy.co.uk with your order number and a description of the fault (photos or video help). We may ask you to send the item to us; we will pay the postage for valid claims. We will repair or replace the item, or refund you if neither is possible.Full details are on our Warranty page. The warranty is given by FINALBUY LIMITED, applies to the original buyer, and never limits your statutory rights.

10. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights. We are not liable for business losses.

11. Sell to us

Items sent under our Sell to us service are covered by the terms on the Sell to us page. In short: any estimate based on photos is provisional; we inspect every item before paying; if the item is not as described we will make a revised offer, and if you decline it we will return the item free of charge. We pay postage both ways. Once we accept an item, we pay you by bank transfer.

12. Complaints and disputes

If you have a problem, please email info@finalbuy.co.uk and we usually reply within 2 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
