This policy explains how FINALBUY LIMITED uses cookies and similar technologies on finalbuy.co.uk, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, for example by keeping items in your basket.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary – needed for the shop to work, such as your basket, checkout, login and security. These do not need consent.

  • woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* – keep your basket (session to 2 days);
  • wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* – keep you logged in (session or up to 14 days);
  • cmplz_* – remember your cookie choices (12 months);
  • Stripe cookies (such as __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) – fraud prevention during payment (up to 1 year).

Preferences – remember your recent browsing so we can show it back to you.

  • woodmart_recently_viewed_products – remembers the last products you viewed (up to 12) so we can show them to you again (7 days);
  • woodmart_wishlist_count, woodmart_wishlist_products – remember items you add to your wishlist when you are not logged in (7 days).

Statistics – we do not currently use analytics or statistics cookies. If we add them, they will only be set with your consent and we will update this page.

Search tools – we use Google Search Console and the Yoast SEO plugin to help our pages appear in search results. These do not set cookies on your device.

Marketing – we do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Our cookie banner is provided by Complianz. The full, up-to-date list is shown in the banner settings.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, our banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage consent” link at the bottom of the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the shop, such as the basket, may then not work.
